Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born 16 March, 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first seen as bit roles on Irish or British television programs in 2009, started her career as an stand-up comic in 2011. She was already regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel show. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's a popular contestant of the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You Think You're Funny Award for the second time. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a vet for horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. However, she did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. She chose the stage name Bea in honor of her late father. She also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea's mother Helen, who is also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter as well as Sinead. She and her family loved racing, horses and the racing industry. As a young girl, Bea worked as an instructor at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead loved performing.
